My alpha is really good. I don’t just only use it when camping but also every night at home. I’ve been using it practically every night for about 3 years now and it is still pristine. Alpha 90 is really good I would definitely recommend.

I love my alpha direct liner, especially on summer nights. It keeps my quilt from sticking to my sweaty body. Only complaint is that it could use some snaps to keep it more closed or attached to a quilt

Only used a couple of times, but feels well made and does the job. I'm paring it with the Argon Shell to form an overbag, and in the first test (on top of my sleeping bag)it definitely kept me warm on a near-zero (celsius) night.

Luxury item on the Camino! My daughter and I both took the alpha direct 90 on our recent Camino Francés trip. Slipped inside the silk liner it was so cozy after a long day of walking. Especially appreciated when we had unexpected snow in the Pyrenees! When it became too warm for inside the liner I still used as a top blanket in the hostels. Also rolled up and used as a pillow or prop when reading in bed. Highly recommend!

What's not to love about this liner, other than Alpha Direct doesn't compress as much as some other materials?
I use the liner year round. When the temperatures are lower than or in-between different quilt comfort ratings, the liner allows me to take the lighter quilt and remain comfortable. When things warm up, I can adjust the quilt to allow more ventilation. When things really warm up, I don't need a quilt and sleep in, under, or on the liner.
Another bonus is that I can throw the liner in the washing machine, unlike my quilts. The liner helps keep my quilts clean, saving on the expense of cleaning the quilts.

Light but real warm in conjunction with quilt. Airy alone, but genius because it can breath. Almost like mesh under garments really adds to warmth without over doing it! Love it!!! I really like the Polartec Alpha Direct Quilt Liner. It is perfect for summer because it provides just the right amount of warmth without feeling heavy. It packs down to almost nothing, so it is easy to carry or store.
I also use it around the house on the couch, and it was especially useful during hospital visits. Lightweight, comfortable, versatile, and easy to take anywhere. Definitely a five-star product.

Own both weights the 90 is my favorite but love them both. For sure added to any quilt they will get you through a chilly night but in particular the 90 is great for when its too warm for the quilt but the temp may drop a little later in the evening you'll never notice. Thanks JRB!!

I fell in love with this alpha 90 quilt liner. I got this for summer camping when temps were going to be high for a canoe trip, and my 3 season quilt was going to drown me in sweat. It performed beautifully and kept me insulated but not overheated.
I finally used it as a winter quilt liner. It's -21F in minnesota this week, and let me tell you, having an alpha quilt liner makes a huge comfort difference. I think they advertise it as an extra 5 degrees of warmth, but it felt warmer to me, and let me push my quilts to their limits.

Huge fan of this, took it out on a night where it got down to freezing, and I was super warm and cozy with a JRB Chameleon 20° UQ below me and a 30° quilt on top of me.
Wrapping it the whole way around your body is key, I’m 5’10” and 215, with it tucked under me I didn’t feel cramped at all when I tucked my arms under this. It’s also a big morale boost since you feel like you’re under a fuzzy blanket you’d use at home!

Does what they say. Have used it 3-seasons. Works well with my quilt or alone. Far superior to any bag liner! Part of my standard kit bike touring and ultralight backpacking (yes it’s that good to add its weight).
