Not sure one quilt can cover both jobs? Honestly, a dedicated hammock underquilt hangs better under a hammock, and a dedicated top quilt is lighter for its rating — the multi-function models trade a little of each for versatility. If you camp on the ground as often as you hang, that trade is usually worth it.
